About The Thrift Shop
The Thrift Shop opened in the fall of 2024 and is 100% staffed by volunteers. Every purchase supports our church and helps spread care and kindness throughout our community.
Mission Statement:
To offer quality merchandise at affordable prices to help Orient Congregational church further its mission to serve God and the community. Thrifting extends the life of a product and makes it accessible for those who might not be able to afford it.
Vision Statement:
Our desire is to create value and worth out of what others consider of little value to impact the life of Orient Congregational church. By doing so grow a business that will bring in the additional funds needed to meet the church’s financial requirements. Enabling the church to fulfill its mission to serve God and the community.

Downsizing? Cleaning out that closet? Let us help you rehome your stuff! Donations are gladly accepted when the store is open or by calling the office at 631-323-2665.
Condition:
All items must be gently used, clean and in working condition.
We Accept:
We accept clothing, books, videos, sporting goods, games, toys, tools, housewares, linens. records, electronics, kitchen items.
We Do Not Accept:
We do not accept, upholstered furniture, mattresses, boxsprings, car seats, opened items, paint, personal care products.
If you are unsure of what we will accept please call the office or stop by the store during business hours.
